Terms of Service

This Digital Image License Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Captured Cowgirl Photography (“Photographer”) and the Client (“Client”) upon purchase and/or delivery of digital images.

1. Copyright Ownership

All photographs remain the exclusive property and copyright of Captured Cowgirl Photography. No ownership or copyright is transferred to the Client through the purchase of digital images.

2. License Granted

Captured Cowgirl Photography grants the Client a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased digital images under the terms outlined below.

3. Permitted Uses

The Client may:

Download and store images for personal use

Print images for personal display

Share images on personal social media accounts

Use images for personal websites or portfolios (non-commercial)

Credit to Captured Cowgirl Photography is required when images are shared online whenever possible.

4. Commercial Use

Commercial use is NOT permitted unless a separate Commercial License Agreement has been purchased in writing.

Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

Advertising or marketing

Business websites or social media pages

Sale of products using the images

Brand sponsorships or promotions

5. Prohibited Uses

The Client may not:

Sell, license, or redistribute images

Claim authorship of the images

Alter images with filters, heavy edits, or cropping that misrepresents the photographer’s work

Submit images to contests, publications, or third parties without written permission

Use images in a defamatory, illegal, or inappropriate manner

6. Editing & Alterations

Minor cropping for social media sizing is allowed. Any additional edits, filters, overlays, or modifications require written approval from Captured Cowgirl Photography.

7. Model Release

Unless otherwise stated, the Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from identifiable individuals in the images for their intended use.

8. Credit & Attribution

When posting online, the Client agrees to credit: Captured Cowgirl Photography (Tagging on social platforms is encouraged and appreciated.)

9. Revocation of License

Captured Cowgirl Photography reserves the right to revoke this license if the terms of this Agreement are violated.

10. Acceptance of Agreement

By downloading, receiving, or using the digital images, the Client agrees to all terms outlined in this Agreement.
